Welcome to Make Up by Katie Tsakos

Katie Tsakos is a Mornington Peninsula based freelance makeup artist, with over 5+ years' experience. She completed her makeup training at the Tamarua Beauty Academy. Katie has always had a passion for anything to do with art and beauty, which paved her way into the Cosmetic Tattooing and Makeup industries. She prides herself on her ability to create aesthetically beautiful looks that are individually tailored to each client.

Over the past five years, Katie has worked extensively in the Bridal and Modelling Industries, working alongside Melbourne's best makeup artists she was hand chosen to be on the official make up team for Miss World Australia.  

Her ability to work under pressure and attention to detail have made it possible for Katie to take her hair and makeup skills overseas, working solo on 8 women, destination wedding party in Thailand doing both the hair and makeup.

From the beginning of Katie's Makeup journey, she has been cultivating her creativity with models, photographers and stylists on editorial photoshoots.  She is experienced in hair and makeup for glamour photography, ensuring the finish look translates onto film.

Whether it be for a wedding/ bridal party, school formal, body building competition, photoshoot or editorial campaign, Katie believes in enhancing one's natural features, whilst providing a transformative and memorable experience that will leave you glowing inside and out. Her attention to detail and strong work ethic is second to none.

Katie is available for both in studio or mobile makeup bookings, and services areas in the Mornington Peninsula up to the Melbourne CBD.
